All of my embroidery work so far! Cats, dogs, bugs, and more.
For these 3 pieces, I used free motion embroidery techniques. It needs a special foot on the sewing machine that allows me to manually drag the artwork under the needle where I want it to sew. I stitched over a water soluble material, and pinned it to a board to dry in a 3D shape.
Each of these pieces went up for auction in Canada at Most Wanted Luxury Resale store to benefit Remake's mission of ethical fashion advocacy!
I've also designed and embroidered custom pet patches! This process involved taking a photo, digitizing and simplifying the image and colors, then turning it into a file that is compatible with my embroidery machine.
Lastly, I've made plenty of other patches for clients and for myself that have an iron-on backing. These are made using my embroidery digitizing software and my embroidery machine. I'll update this post with more pictures once I find them!
